F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin is a horror first-person shooter that continues the
supernatural story of a powerful psychic Alma- she's an incredibly dangerous
apparition of a 8-years old child that was used for genetic military experiments.
F.E.A.R. 2 is the direct sequel to a multi-award winning F.E.A.R and
it will start approximately 30 minutes before the ending of the original game
(full title- F.E.A.R.: First Encounter Assault Recon).
The game is being developed by Monolith Productions
that are responsible for such games as Condemned and Condemned 2,
Aliens vs. Predator 2, The Matrix Online and more
(full list here).
It will be published on Feb 2009 by Warner Bros.

Alma is the very centre of F.E.A.R. universe. It wasn't so obviously exposed
in the beginning of the story- she was appearing in visions as 8 years old girl
with long black hair. It was never clear if she's real or a hallucination,
though she was leaving bloody footprints or flash-appearing on CCTVs.
It was so until the end of the first F.E.A.R. when Alma appeared as a naked
young woman and escaped to Auburn's surface.
